★ Donorschoose.org "Chromebooks for Coding" $2,200 raised to help students start a coding club. (2014)

★Dekalb County School District Liibrary Media Specialist of the Year 2014

★Donorschoose.org "Lectern with Sound and Document Camera"  $800.00 raised to help students, teachers and community members do great presentations (2013)

★Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. $100.00 grant to be spent on a Donorschoose.org project for participating in the Scholastic Teacher Wall project (2012)

★ Donorschoose.org “4th Gen. IPOD for Mobile Podcasting” $310.00 raised to do on the go portable podcasting using the integrated microphone on this new IPOD model. (2011)

★ Donorschoose.org. “IPAD for Science, See the Stars” $500 raised for an IPAD2 for students to engage in science related technology activities (2011)

★ Donorschoose.org. “Flipping for a Flip Camera” $349.00 raised for a video camera to be used by our students for technology integrated projects (2010)

★ Donorschoose.org. “Storytime without a Rug is Like a Theater with No Seats” $562.00  raised for a storytime rug for the library media center (2009)

★ Promethean wand awarded to the library-media center to provide assistance to our “smallest technology users” (2010)
