This was our second meetup! EdTech Women Atlanta attracts the most fascinating women in the field of educational technology! This is an awesome meet up and the fun part was seeing some new faces and make new friends! This is my new friend Lesley McClendon. She is a very smart person and I have already learned a lot from her! @lesleymcclendon
DEN GURU, Dr. Cindy Moss came to the Forsyth County School District in Cumming Ga today to lead us at the GA STEM Leadership Summit. Cindy did not lose my attention one time! Her pacing, along with the interesting information she shared made her presentation simply irresistible! I never knew that hearing about statistics, salaries, school programs, and corporate partnerships could keep me taking notes! I rarely write anything down but today I found myself hanging onto her every word. I am eager to share what I learned with my colleagues and also with the school community at large. It was also a delight to see Kelly Hines present Discovery Board Builder with a twist for anyone who was already familiar with it. Kelly has an awesome presentation demeanor; I love listening to pretty much anything she has to say! Thank you to Brian Nido of Discovery Education for letting me know about this very timely PD opportunity a few minutes after meeting me in Nashville at DENSI 2014. Discovery Education is the resource that just keeps on giving!
